PROGRAM
The purpose of Optional Courses and Special Seminars is to provide the opportunity for in-depth exposure to specific techniques and topics, as well as more personalized contact with recognized leaders in aesthetic surgery. The educational objectives are stated from the perspective of what the attendee can expect to implement into their practice or what they can expect to attain from participating in the course. Special Seminars and Optional Courses will be held on Friday, May 6 through Tuesday, May 10. Register early before your course selections sell out!
Earn up to 30 credits of additional CME credits by attending Optional Courses, and Special Seminars. Course assignments are made on a first-come, first-processed basis. If you register for courses in advance, you will receive a $50 discount off the course fee. As an added bonus this year, receive a 20% discount off four or more courses during Pre-Registration only! An acknowledgment with your course assignments will be faxed or emailed to you from the Aesthetic Society within ten business days if you utilize the form on this site. Be certain to indicate your second and third choices for each session on your registration form. If your first choice is “sold out” when your Registration Form is received, we will enroll you in the next available course, according to your priority list. You may also register for Optional Courses on-site, if space is available. On-site course fees will apply.
Your course ticket(s) will be included in your Registration Packet which can be picked up at the Registration Desk at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, Level 1. Registration opens on Friday, May 6th at 6:30 am.Your ticket must be presented for admission to your course(s).
Handout material for Optional Courses will be available on the meeting’s web site for those who wish to print them prior to the course.
The email addresses of the course instructors have been provided so that you may contact them prior to the course regarding any specific issues or complications to be addressed in the course.

If you are unable to register and receive discounted fees before the Advance Registration Deadline on April 6, 2011 you may register on-site at ASAPS Registration Desk. On-site Registration opens Friday, May 6, 2011 6:30am and is located at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Registration is open the entire meeting during designated hours.

Dinner Dance
The Presidential Dinner Dance (Members and Candidates) will be held on Tuesday, May 10. The dress code is black tie optional. Seating arrangements for the Dinner Dance will be available through our website. Your registration confirmation will include a link to make your own seat selections for the Dinner Dance.
“Friends of Bill W”
There will be two meetings for “Friends of Bill W” during The Aesthetic Meeting 2011 at 12:30pm – 1:30pm on Sunday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 11. The meeting room location will be printed in the Program Book. For further information, please contact James Fernau, MD at (412) 715-6320.
Message Center / Internet Email Stations
The electronic message center and internet email stations will be located near the Registration Area in the North Lobby of the Boston Convention & Entertainment Center Foyer, on the Level 1. Policy on Faculty, Sponsor and Attendee Disclosure
The Aesthetic Society policy requires the faculty to disclose real or apparent conflicts of interest relating to topics of the educational activity, and to also disclose off-label/unapproved uses of drugs or devices mentioned during their presentation(s) and during question and answer periods. Detailed disclosures will be made in the course descriptions and at the time of presentation. Attendees providing comments or asking questions during presentations are also required to disclose all commercial interests.
